Project Lead the Way

Clegg has been a STEAM magnet school since the 2013-2014 school year, and we are excited to be leaders in the community as one of the first schools to offer PLTW to our student body. Already having a fully equipped STEAM lab offering hands-on learning opportunities in computer science, robotics, engineering, and coding, our STEAM program at Clegg will be enriched with all that PLTW has to offer. Unlike any other program, PLTW empowers students to develop and apply in-demand transportable skills by exploring real-world challenges. PLTW offers pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical sciences that not only teach students technical skills, but also gives them the opportunity to learn how to solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate and collaborate with their peers and teachers alike. Embedded in our weekly curriculum, PLTW also provides our teachers with the training, resources, and support they need to engage students in learning.
